These are the most frequently asked questions. Please read these before contacting us with your enquiry.

How does it all work?

We run untutored life drawing classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Once a month we have an All Day Draw session, and alongside these we run Tutored Life Drawing Courses and Special Drawing Events.

Do you do private group bookings?

Private tutored drawing classes for individuals and groups of up to 15 - yes, please contact us for a bespoke price.

Hen / Stag parties - no

The Session I want to come to is fully booked - is there a waiting list?

Yes!

Send us an email to be notified of any cancellations for a fully booked session that you'd like to attend. This is operated on a first come, first served basis.

How are the sessions structured?

Untutored Daytime & Evening Sessions: 

3 x 10 minute poses

1 x 20 minutes

- Tea and Biscuits -

1 x 40 minutes

 

All Day Draw Sessions:

3 x 10 minutes

120 minutes 1 single pose

- Lunch Break -

120 minutes 1 single pose

Are materials provided?

We provide paper, charcoal and pencils, and we have easels and drawing boards. All materials are included in the price, with the option to purchase additional materials from  our shop. You are also welcome to bring your own materials. Please note that solvent based paints / thinners are not permitted in the studio. If you wish to paint on the longer sessions, please bring water based / non solvent painting materials.

I’ve booked a session but I can no longer attend, can I get a refund or roll it over to another session?

All individual sessions are non-refundable and non transferable to another day, so please take this into account when booking a class! This applies to every class and course we offer.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Paypal and all major credit cards for all classes booked online. You can also book and pay for future sessions when you come along to a class. We accept both card payments and cash.

Is there parking available?

Yes! Flexspace has a large free car park.

I’m a school student (under 18) - can I come?

Absolutely, school students aged 16 and over can come to the sessions.

I’ve never done life drawing before - can I still come?

Of course! Beginners are most welcome to the weekly untutored life drawing classes. We also offer a beginners course for those who are new to life drawing, which runs throughout the year.

I’m a life model, and I want to model for your sessions - how do I apply?

We are not currently looking for models, but please feel free to send us an email with your details if you want, just in case.

 

How do I find you?

Drawing Club HQ is Unit Lower C3 Flexspace, Burley Hill Trading Estate, Burley Road, Leeds LS4 2PU,

Our home is in the Burley Hill Trading Estate.

We are Unit C3 Flexspace. You can find us via Argie Road, or from the main car park, down the steps and round the corner.
